World Vision CoachSource...

Hi, my name is Mark Lane, and I am the CoachSource engagement manager for the World Vision engagement. This is an invitation for you to provide coaching services, or you can pass this on to other coaches you believe are qualified. Here is the CoachSource page that lists coach qualifications - http://www.coach-source.com/pages/cf_forcoaches.htm

Executive Coaching for Country Managers

World Vision is a global charitable organization with Country Managers that typically have 1500-2000 people reporting to them. The job is to do executive coaching for the Country Managers. World Vision coaching is paid, but as World Vision is a non-profit, we expect rates as low as possible. It would be highly beneficial for you to know more about World Vision, as they are not the run of the mill charity, and they are looking for coaches that know who they are, how they work, and are sympathetic to their cause.

Who is World Vision?

World Vision is a Christian relief, development and advocacy organization dedicated to working with children, families and communities to overcome poverty and injustice. Inspired by our Christian values, we are dedicated to working with the world’s most vulnerable people. We serve all people regardless of religion, race, ethnicity or gender.

What type of projects does World Vision do?

World Vision projects may be grouped into three areas:
1) short-term emergency relief, such as providing food, shelter and medical care to victims of natural or man-made disasters;

2) long-term sustainable community development focusing on helping communities meet the needs its members identify, like clean water, education, health care, agricultural improvements and sanitation; and

3) working with policymakers and the public at the national, regional and global level to build awareness around poverty and to address the unjust systems that help perpetuate it.”

Interested in coaching a World Vision Country Manager?

If you are interested in applying to coach a World Vision Country Manager, here are the areas of greatest need at the present time:

1. Sub-Saharan Africa coaches, with fluency in French
2. Latin America coaches, with fluency in Spanish
3. One or two coaches for Asia Pacific countries. (English speaking)

World Vision would prefer the sessions be 1) Face to face, or 2) Skype, or 3) Phone. In that order of preference. They would like the proximity to be as close as possible, to avoid time zone issues for meetings and closer proximity for face to face meetings. So, residing in the same hemisphere, speaking the same language, and being sympathetic to the World Vision cause are minimum requirements.

If interested, and you meet the minimum requirements, please contact me at CoachSource to complete a questionnaire and return to me by Nov 9th. If you have already filled out this questionnaire, we have it on file, so no need to do it again.

You can email me with any questions you may have about the program.

Best Regards,
Mark Lane
CoachSource Engagement Manager.
