Gregor is a certified business coach, an talent management advisor to numerous boards and practising Management Consultant with two decades of experience, specialising in the assessment, leadership and personal development of Managers, Partners and Executives. He has provided executive coaching services for a wide range of global clients in the financial services, petrochemical & professional service sectors in Asia and Europe, amongst others. Through Coaching, he has focused on developing individual emotional intelligence, personal impact, decision-making, problem solving, team working and team performance, conflict, communication & presentation skills and change management methodologies.
His knowledge of personality, motivation and behaviour enables him to increase levels of self-awareness so that clients develop their understanding of why they react and behave in particular ways so to build a wide range of additional strategies. He is qualified to use a range of diagnostic measures to uncover personality preferences and often finds it helpful to use these in helping people to understand some of the traits underlying their behaviour.
He recognises the need to adapt his style of coaching to suit his client, depending on their naturally preferred styles, their need for structure and their need for support versus challenge, for example. Gregor works with individuals to clarify their particular needs and objectives, and to agree how they will best work together to ensure these are achieved – flexing his style accordingly. His coaching sessions are based around various coaching models proven to facilitate progress towards desired outcomes and achieve organisational results.
He holds full certification (CBC) of the World Association of Business Coaches (WABC) and membership of the International Coaching Federation (ICF). He is also a member the Hong Kong International Coaching Community (HKICC), the British Psychological Society (BPS) holding full psychometric certification and also a Fellow of the Institute of Leadership & Management and Chartered Institute of Management (UK). Additionally, he has been awarded Fellow of the Hong Kong Institute of Directors and Fellow of the Royal Society of Arts and Commerce (UK). He studied at Leeds University for a Bachelor of Education and a MBA in Leadership and Sustainability from Cumbria University, UK. He also holds advanced certifications in NLP and Prince2. He currently sits on the coaching panels of numerous global organisations in the pharmaceutical, finance & legal services space, and is working on various global & regional leadership projects throughout Asia Pacific. He has also held interim board positions in Organisational Development roles.
